8 times 100 seeds are counted and weighed for the determination of the 1000 seed mass according to ISTA rules. At the beginning the sample in request is mixed properly and heaped on the worktop. Now seeds are removed, always from one side, from the outer to the inner without intentional selection, counted and collected in a weighing dish. Once 100 sees are counted they are weighed.
